How it works
Find a pilot, or be found.
Killer Pilots is a free, nationwide directory of Part 107 commercial drone pilots.
For people hiring
Start with a place. Type a city, a town or an address, and the map shows every pilot whose service area covers that spot.
Each card shows the pilot's primary service, their equipment and whether they carry insurance, with the distance from your search in whole miles. Open a profile for the full listing: services, service areas, credentials, portfolio, reviews and the pilot's own description of their work.
Browsing is free and needs no account. Sign in free to see a pilot's contact details and links, then reach out directly.
What the labels mean
Every fact on a profile says where it came from.
- "Certificate reviewed" means a Killer Pilots reviewer has looked at the Part 107 certificate the pilot uploaded.
- "FAA record matched" means the pilot's name and state matched a record in the FAA's public airmen registry.
- "Pilot-provided" means it is the pilot's own statement and we have not checked it.
- "Verification pending" means a certificate has been uploaded and is waiting on a reviewer.
The labels tell you what we have looked at. Ask the pilot for anything else you need before you hire.
For pilots
Create a free listing in a few minutes.
- Add a headshot or a logo.
- Pick the services you offer and mark one as primary. It becomes the label on your card.
- Set a home base. Your exact address stays private. The public map shows a point at least 1,000 meters away, or your city center if you prefer.
- Draw a standard service area and, if you travel for a fee, an extended one. Use a radius, pick states or counties, or draw your own shape.
- Add your equipment, your insurance details and a portfolio of images and video links.
- Upload your Part 107 certificate for review. Your listing publishes right away with "Verification pending" and switches to "Certificate reviewed" once it is approved.
- Publish.
Listing is free right now. Your email, phone, website and social links are shown only to signed-in visitors, and you can switch each one off from your account.
